MWZ - Open World Zombies
For the first time, team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of the undead in the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) tells a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features, and secrets to discover. Ready up for an open world PvE survival experience against some of the biggest enemies in Call of Duty history.
Encounter Design
Activities & Contracts
While working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, I developed and maintained various contracts and activities across the big map. I crafted over 25+ unique instances of these, each undergoing extensive iterations that were enjoyable on repeat playthroughs. When creating these, I focused heavily on analyzing the perfect space on the map and determining what cover and additional geo elements would need to be added to direct the flow of each encounter.
Responsibilities
- Developed, populated, and iterated on over 25+ unique instances of various contracts and activities across a large open-world map.
- Composed documentation and prototyped new designs for the mode.
- Rapidly iterated on feedback gathered during playtest and review sessions.
- Large focus on encounter design and cover placements on the content my team developed.
- Extensive bug testing and map mark-up prior to launch.
